Every board that leaves our shop starts as a piece of wood with a story — a grain pattern, a live edge, a streak of sapwood — and our job is to let that story show.
I’m Kimberly, and along with Jeff, the makers behind JKM Designs. We handcraft cutting boards, serving boards, and charcuterie boards from quality hardwoods like walnut, maple, cherry, white oak, and ash. Each piece is shaped, sanded, and finished by hand in our workshop in Indiana.
Why handmade?
Because no two pieces of wood are the same, and no two boards should be either. When you buy from JKM Designs, you’re getting something that was made with care, not pulled off a shelf.
What we make
From compact charcuterie boards for two to large live edge statement pieces, every board is built to last a lifetime — and finished with food-safe mineral oil and beeswax so it’s ready to use the moment it arrives.
